Teaching in Rhetoric

Here, you'll find information about my courses in rhetoric.  I have taught courses in Written Communication, Oral Communication, and Technical Communication.  I've taught courses in liberal education literature and interdisciplinary humanities.  I've taught Honors courses of multiple varieties.  And, I've taught graduate seminars and graduate-credit workshops (at the MA level) on media literacy, visual literacy, and interdisciplinary (qualitative, humanistic, and survey-based) research methods.

Rhetoric: The way that we use language and that language uses us. The glue that creates and binds communities. The search for and construction of community is paramount.
